Got word from Sonex that the W22-07/08/03/04 doubler plates and ribs should be trimmed as required to get the W21-04 bellcrank pivots to sit properly. Do not trim the pivot block.
Reheated one of the blocks to remove a bearing that was damaged during the heat shrink fit process. The second bearing was damaged during the reheat as expected and was also removed. Two new bearings are on order. Sonex sent pictures of a suggested bearing install method using a bolt, nut and washers to pull the two bearings into place against each other. I'll try that with the new bearings.
